He is co-host of the MexMoves podcast, produced by Whitepaper, which focuses on business and finance stories in Mexico for a global audience. Damian was CEO of UBS in Mexico from 2011 to 2018, where he previously served as head of Equities and Research for Latin America since 1998. Early in his career, Damian was a journalist at The Economist and the Financial Times (as head of the Mexico office).
He holds a CFA and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Harvard University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Philosophy from Oxford University. He has written several articles and essays on FinTechs, SOFIPOs, regulated banks, and their opportunities and challenges in Mexico.
She has a degree in Communication from the Ibero, specialising in Strategic Communication and a master’s degree in Communication, Marketing and Advertising Management from the IED in Madrid. She is an expert in public relations, communication and event organisation, with more than eight years of experience in Mexico and Spain.
She has worked with national and international clients mainly in the luxury, lifestyle, entertainment and tourism sectors, developing high-impact communication strategies and building a solid network within the PR world.
Outside of work, she enjoys going to the cinema, travelling, watching series and reading.
Paula is a Corporate Communications and Public relations specialist with more than ten years of experience managing corporate media strategies for different industries such as finance, technology, energy, and consumption with leading national and international companies. Media relations, storytelling, crisis management, and leadership communication activities are areas in which she specializes. She has worked with leading brands such as UBS, Coca- Cola, Siemens, NTT DATA, Fortinet, and Mercado Libre. Paula has a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Communications by Tecnológico de Monterrey and a diploma in Public Relations, Crisis Management and Digital media from the same institution.
Andrea is an internationalist graduated from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, with more than three years of experience in public affairs consulting, as well as in the Federal Government. She has specialised in monitoring legislative and regulatory processes, analysing public policies and creating strategies to connect with key actors.
Throughout her career, she has worked on important issues on the public agenda, applying her experience in consulting for companies in the technology, energy and extractive sectors. Outside of work, she enjoys playing the piano, reading and attending cultural events.
