\u00c1lvaro Rodr\u00edguez Arregui es co-fundador y socio director de IGNIA, fondo de capital emprendedor enfocado en compa\u00f1\u00edas digitales de Am\u00e9rica Latina o globales entrando a la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>

Tambi\u00e9n fue presidente del Consejo de Gentera y Compartamos Banco, considerada la instituci\u00f3n de microfinanzas m\u00e1s grande de Am\u00e9rica; de igual manera, se desempe\u00f1\u00f3 como presidente del Consejo de ACCION Internacional, organizaci\u00f3n sin fines de lucro con sede en EEUU enfocada en microfinanzas con 60 a\u00f1os de historia en el sector.<\/p>

El empresario actualmente participa en los consejos de Centro David Rockefeller de Estudios Latinoamericanos de la Universidad de Harvard, Social Progress Imperative (cofundador), ITAM Epic Entrepreneurship Center, Harvard Business School Latin America Advisory Board y Oxford University Sa\u00efd Business School Global Council.<\/p>

En su carrera profesional, tambi\u00e9n fue director financiero de Vitro, director general de Farmacias Benavides y director financiero de Grupo Elektra<\/p>

En M\u00e9xico, \u00c1lvaro Rodr\u00edguez Arregui estudi\u00f3 la licenciatura en Econom\u00eda en el Instituto Tecnol\u00f3gico Aut\u00f3nomo de M\u00e9xico (ITAM), universidad que lo nombr\u00f3 ex alumno distinguido. El empresario tambi\u00e9n cuenta con un Master of Business Administration (MBA) de Harvard Business School.<\/p>

En 2019, Harvard entreg\u00f3 al empresario, junto a Michael Bloomberg, exalcalde de Nueva York, el premio Distinguished Alumni Award, el m\u00e1s alto honor otorgado a un exalumno de esa instituci\u00f3n, en la que actualmente ense\u00f1a y da mentor\u00eda a alumnos a trav\u00e9s de su papel como Executive Fellow en la instituci\u00f3n.<\/p>

En 2005, \u00c1lvaro fue nombrado Joven L\u00edder Global (YGL) por el Foro Econ\u00f3mico Mundial (WEF). Forbes lo nombr\u00f3 como uno de los 30 mejores emprendedores sociales del mundo. En 2012, la Organizaci\u00f3n de J\u00f3venes Presidentes (YPO) otorg\u00f3 a \u00c1lvaro el Premio SEN a la Sostenibilidad en Justicia Econ\u00f3mica \/ Impacto Comunitario y en 2014, el presidente de M\u00e9xico lo honr\u00f3 con el Premio Nacional de Emprendimiento.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
