Carlos Elizondo Mayer-Serra

Carlos Elizondo Mayer-Serra has an undegrad degree in International Relations from El Colegio de México, and has both a master’s and a PhD. in Political Science from the University of Oxford. He is currently a professor at the Tec de Monterrey School of Government and Public Transformation.

He is part of the National System of Researchers CONACYT, with the highest degree of national researcher, level III.

He writes weekly op-ed on the editorial page of Reforma, published every Sunday. He hosts the Primer Círculo program every Monday at ADN 40, along with Federico Reyes Heroles.

He is the author of numerous publications on comparative politics, political economy, and the relationship between law and politics. His last book was published in January 2021: Y mi palabra es la ley. AMLO en Palacio Nacional (Penguin Random House).
